Exclusive to NXUS CPL Max

Two guarantees no other CPL carrier offers

NXUS CPL Max comes with two commitments built into the policy. No other CPL product on the market includes both.

Most contractors don't think about their CPL coverage until something forces the issue. Maybe it's a contract spec they can't meet, or a carrier switch that has them worried about losing coverage. These two guarantees settle both concerns before your client has to raise them.

NXUS CPL guarantees
GUARANTEE #1

Contract Compliance Guarantee

If a contract requires wording NXUS CPL Max doesn't include, we amend the wording to match it.1

NXUS reviews the contract's insurance requirements and amends the policy language to match them, at no added cost. That applies to the contract your client is signing today and to future jobs with requirements they haven't seen yet.

The concern it answers

“What if choosing this policy puts my contract compliance at risk?”

How to explain it to your client

“You're guaranteed to meet what your contract requires today. And if a future job brings wording you've never seen, NXUS Max amends the form to match it, so you're covered now and future-proofed later.”

What to know

  • ¹ Wording only. Limits and deductible stay as purchased.
  • Does not add coverage that was offered but not purchased at binding.
GUARANTEE #2

Favorable Wording Guarantee

If your client's previous policy is found to be more favorable during a claim, we will honor it.

This is Coverage Part H in the policy form. At claim time, NXUS Max compares the expiring competitor CPL to the NXUS CPL Max and applies whichever language is more favorable to the insured.

The concern it answers

"What if I switch to NXUS CPL Max and lose something I had with my old carrier?"

How to explain it to your client

“You don't have to worry about losing coverage when you switch. If your old policy had more favorable language anywhere, NXUS Max honors it at claim time. Both are compared, and you get whichever is more favorable.”

What to know

  • The prior policy doesn't need to be sent at binding. NXUS Max collects it at the time of claim if needed.
  • Applies to a prior monoline CPL form, or to the comparable CPL coverage parts of a combined-form CPL/Professional policy. Does not apply to a GL endorsement.
  • Does not add coverage that was offered but not purchased at binding.
  • If the prior policy is silent on something, the NXUS CPL Max wording applies.
